SYLKEN creates stunningly vital, emotionally charged music that responds to the surrounding environment and
pulses with a life of it's own. Their shows are truly moving musical events, magical experiences that often
leave me breathless. A truly wonderful example of the inherent beauty of the ambient genre, Eric Hopper's
rotating collaborative project regularly crafts a perfect blend of organic
living sounds, synthesized tones and subtly processed guitar. Surely some of my favorite music in this or
any other genre.
